problem with apps downloading

hi

i have a sony ericsson xperia x10 (not mini) and when i try to download a app it says starting download and just stays there for ever.
latest updates are installed.





can some one help me please

I had the same problem for a while and tried uninstalling market updates, and while this may work for you, it didn't for me.

The thing that finally solved it for me was going to the settings > accounts & sync > than re-configured my Google account.
Thankfully, I've never had a problem since.

I only have issues when downloading games. I'll give the above a try

If the other answers didn't help you need to go to settings>applications>manage applications>play store>clear cache/clear data. That should solve your problem
