Lurker
Whenever I am using internet browser on LG optimus an I hit the back button to go to previous web page, it closes the browser. It stays on the same page when I return to the browser but still won't let me go "back" it hasn't always done this. really annoying

Just use a different browser, like Dolphin HD or Boat HD. Those actually look like Google Chrome for Desktop and it works better than stock web browser.
