Help problem with battery

Some Android users receiving that upgrade are reporting poor battery life. It is sometimes improved by checking all apps and widgets that can sync or update (Facebook, gmail, weather bug, news, etc) and configuring as many as possible to sync manually rather than in the background.
Also, check your network and/or wifi settings to be sure the device is not polling for a tower too frequently or receiving too weak of a wireless signal.
To summarize, it appears that the best course of action to take when going from one version of Android's OS to another version is to start over with apps, widgets and other settings, including networking and wifi.
I would also reboot the device following those changes.
If no improvement, perhaps a factor data reset is the next thing to try.
