I installed the android 4.o boot animation through miuis built in theme changer, and when it starts up the animation keeps playing. the screen shuts off, and when you turn it back on its just the animation playing, over and over again. I tried wiping system but its stored in data. I backed up and went in and deleted the bootanimation.zip file from the data tar, but that screwed up the md5.
I guess I have two questions, both fixing the other:
Can I generate a new md5 sum so recovery will flash it?
or
Is there some way to flash an entirely new boot animation.
I tried downloading an hdpi boot ani from the internet and it just says installation aborted.
Obviously I cant get a file manager, and adb does not recognise my phone when its in recovery connected
