Help Problem with calendar

Hi!

I have a problem with my phone and it's calendar, it tries to sync it all the time and it only opens like once out of five times, it takes alot of my battery and ofcourse i can't use my calendar because i can't view it or add events to it.

Anyone had the same problem or have any idea why this is happening and how I could fix it?

I've not had this problem so can't give you the answer, but I know that it's been discussed - and resolved - many times on this forum. I suggest you do a search to retrieve the relevant threads.

I can't find the fixes anywhere, if someone could please link them here or post them again that would be really great.

Also, my CPU is constantly running on 95% power (i have usb debugging on, and have put it on/off once in a while), its usually Friend stream or flickr(which is wierd because i don't even use it) which uses the CPU, but then my battery control shows that my calendar drains like 60% of my batterylife, are these two problems related?

I am desperate, please help me

Are you syncing your calendar over the air, or by the PC ? I am assuming OTA, as it is draining your battery (using 3G)...and I too had this issue.
It would starting syncing the calendar, and then fail...and then retry and fail again.
Apparently, there is a calendar appointment which is "upsetting" the stooopid Activesync client. Any appointments that are recurring and have no end date are apparently the issue, but in my case, I checked and changed them all...no avail.
I ended up, tediously, creating a new calendar in Outlook and copying all future appointments (including birthdays/holidays) into this new calendar. I then deleted the upcoming items in my "main" Outlook, and then copied them back from Calendar #2 one by one, syncing in between. It was pretty darn crappy and time consuming, but do you know....I copied every one back with no issues and it syncs perfectly now (and has done for 6 weeks now). No idea which one it was, but I tried all sorts and then just bit the bullet (I did have have 300+ apointments). Make sure you open the recurring ones as "recurring" when copying !

Bit strange on this. Is it on your battery app that is saying it is using a lot of processes??? If so this is a facebook app bug (yea I know it says it is calendar, weird eh), and you have to disable syncing or something for facebook. It was reported on this forum in November/December last year. You can search for it on this forum.

But syncing, I think there is an option to only sync every few hours instead of push. Try using that and see...
