Problem with checking software updates

Hi all,

I am new on this forum, I already searched and few people had the sam problem, but no solution.

When i check manually for new software update, it is checking and it never stops, i don't get any new information, it just writes "checking" and circle is going on and on...

Does anyone know a solution? I would be very grateful.

I called htc hotline, and i reseted phone and pulled battery out, and turned it on, but everything the same.
 
Without wishing to sound unhelpful,i don't think that there is a solution as such. My guess is that it's a temporary server issue that will be resolved soon. Try again tomorrow.
 
The system update for the Desire needs 25MB free phone memory space.
If the memory space not available on your phone maybe this is the reason for the failure.

Hi, new to the forum too.

I had the same problem with my black desire from orange after the last update.
I ended up doing a factory reset and now its fine, just remember to save everything before you do as it.all goes bye bye
