Apps Problem with eclipse on Gentoo linux

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the Android plugin for Eclipse. I got everything working, but the graphical layout designer is completely fed up and I have no idea how to fix it. Below is a screenshot of my strange problem:

When I move my mouse over the widgets they disappear and the space becomes all black. I'm running Eclipse 3.5.1 (Galileo) on Gentoo Linux.

Anyone?

Judging by the date of the post and by other things churning in Gentoo (and Linux in general) lately, I'd venture a guess that this is something related to SWT and GTK3. In any case, this would be something you'd want to query about at the Gentoo bugzilla; it's very probably a toolkit drawing issue of some sort.

Try to update your X graphics libs...
I use ArchLinux, "Graphical Layout" looks good, but this feature seems useless for me, I use only the text *.xml editing for layouts
