problem with email

I'm having a problem with my @email on my LG Motion metro PCS phone. When I go to the @mail app on my phone I always get a Error. the error states authentication failed. Then an error box on the top left side of the phone appears a white envelope with the @symbol with a red exclamation point. I am not getting my mail.

If you're talking about any other email app besides gmail, it can be tricky so double check those settings.

With the gmail app, once you sign into your gmail account with the correct user name and password it should just work irregardless of phone model or carrier.
