Problem with EZ PDF Reader - Crashing very often

Hi All,

I was wondering if you could help me out on this EZ PDF reading problem that I am having.

I just bought it from the Play Store after reading the good ratings and reviews. I like it. No questions about the fact that there are a lot of customizations.

However, it crashes very often - like after every 3 or 4 pages regardless of the PDF document that I try to read. What's up with that? I am using (more accurately, trying to use) it on a Nexus 10 tablet with the latest updated version of JB. I have emailed them but have not yet received a reply. In the meantime, I turn to you for help!

I need this desperately because most of my reading materials (especially for work) are PDF documents and this is stressing me out.

Thanks in advance.

You might try RepliGo Reader ... if you don't need ezReader's two-page view on your tab ;)

Not on me. Its not crashing on me. Try clearing data from the app?

I tried that...no joy. I wonder if I reinstall it again, would it make a difference? Also, I wonder if I can reinstall as I bought the app.

Edit: I can indeed reinstall the app. Let's see if things improve.

I'm using Mantano reader, and I'm very impressed with it. I have no affiliation with them, but I've only had my Note 2 for a little more than a week, and I couldn't stand the default Polaris office reader and Mantano got good reviews from my research. I mostly read PDF's which not all readers handle well.

Thanks. I tried that - the free version. What I am looking for is the 2 - page format. Does the paid version of Mantano do that?

I wonder if there is a technical reason as to why PDF readers don't work so well on android. I believe it is a much better experience on the iPad... At least so say some of my friends. Is that true?

Well, I bought the paid version of Mantano. And, yes, it is quite good. It does do the two-page thing if you play around with the font size, which is basically what I wanted. So, thanks again.

I've the paid version of Mantano for a long time, but I didn't know about the two-page view ... so thank you for the discovery :)
