problem with GLONASS

Hi,

Have you too a problem of fix with the Russian GPS satellites, GLONASS?

The lg g2 can use just few of them! to compare of the S4 mini of my girlfriend which can use all of them.

That mean we loss the interest of the glonass :-(

The best appli to see that is AndoiTS GPS Test

I can see good signals from the US GPS satellites from anywhere inside my house. (There's nothing over my head that would block the signal.) I can't see ANY GLONASS satellites from inside the house, so I have to assume that the GLONASS signals are very weak. So I'd say it's not you - but a phone with a VERY Sensitive GPS receiver would work better.

yes indeed the gps itself is good.
But the interest of glonass is too have more satellites in view, that is useful if you are in the city between buildings, or in the forest, any place where the reception is difficult.

But when you say that you can not see Russian sat,do you mean you have no satellites at all or no signal from them? Because in my case I can see all these sat but there is no signal that the phone use for the fix.

We are aware of this problem and hopefully in the next software update this will be fixed.
