Problem with Google Navigation

Sorry if this has been posted recently, but my search-foo only turned up results from 2010 or early 2011 (at least for the first page or so... did not go too far past that), but after the January 10th update to google maps, whenever I try and use google navigation it crashes and force closes. This has to be with the update because if I uninstall the update google nav works fine (which I have no problem doing should I have to). If it matters, I'm using an Asus Transformer.

I'm not sure what happened, but I still cant use Navigation from the app link, but if I try using it through google maps it works fine. I think I may I have to do it through there, so I guess this issue is closed. Anyone else have this problem?

go to manage application and uninstall update.
