Android Question

Greetings.
Firstly, I want to get this out of the way. I currently have an HTC Explorer A310e. I've had it for little over a year, and it's never had any problems. Suddenly, a few weeks ago, my phone started to have some really weird problems. This takes form in its random exiting of my applications whilst I'm using them, going back to the home, going into my contacts or searching things on google, etc. etc. It seemed that it had a problem with the pad, and I was worried that it might be a virus.
So, I tested it out. Since I wouldn't know whether or not the virus was on my SD card or my phone's internal memory, I took out the SD card and placed it aside, using my phone with only its internal memory. Once it started failing again, I decided to wipe the internal memory and hoped to see the problem stop.
It didn't. It still has problems and I can barely using my applications without having some sort of difficulty. Can anyone help me?
