Help Problem with Instagram

Hi I am new on this forum and I have a big issue with my instagram application on my samsung fame mobile, I cant follow or unfollow anyone and when someone follows me the number of my followers isnt changing. I have tried reinstalling, uninstalling and installing the app, shutting the phone off, even tried to login to my account from another device but there was the same issue too. Please help me to resolve this, it has been bugging me very much in the past days!

Instagram has of course not been answering my messages either.

I don't use Instagram much but it sounds like its on there end!

Thanks Rosario. I don' know what to do, and they are not fixing it so I'll probably just delete it.

I'm not an instagram user either, but it sounds like the app isn't sync'ing properly with instagram. You might want to look under menu>settings>accounts and see if the instagram account is listed and set to automagically sync.
