Problem with installing Android SDK

Dear friends,
I have installed installer_r08-windows.exe for my windows XP
When i run SDK Manager a window with black screen appears and close down.
Why this is happening? Please Help!!

It didn't work for me either. Download the zip version from the same site. That's how I did it.
