Problem with LG V10 and Display time out

dTardis

Lurker
I am having a problem getting a basic task working.
I like to have my screen stay on when I have my phone in the car. So I have this basic task setup.
When phone is plugged in.
AND
Phone is vertical (in car holder)

Set display time out to 6 Hours.
Flash "Screen On"

The time is not too important it just needs to NOT be the 30 sec standard timeout. The problem is that the timeout doesn't seem to work. The Flash happens. So it appears that the action does kickoff, but the timeout does not appear to change at all. In 30 sec the screen shuts off.

What can I do? Did I setup something wrong? This use to work on my Note 3.

I did, I thought, but it didn't come through. So I'll try again here.

Does it operate correctly when not in the holder but plugged in and vertical?

Do you have a case on it? If yes ... did you try it without the case?

Does the same thing whether in the holder or not. I have no case for the phone ether.

Wipe Cache Partition (deleting all temporary files and not touching data, settings, or installed apps).

I would try adding a 1 sec Wait before and after each Display Timeout and see if there was a change.

So I went into setting storage and cleared cache. I added a 1sec wait to both sides of the timeout. Still no change. Here is the new profile.
