Help Problem with market

CAN ANYBODY HELP
im having trouble with market i click on the market tab and it tells me i have to have a google account so i click on the create google account tab put my details in yet it ALWAYS comes back with this "cant establish a reliable data connection to the server"
..
this has been the same ever since ive had the phone (3 months now)

I presume you are able to use your phone to look at the internet etc??

Have you tried over wifi?

You need background data syncing on to use the market, you may need to enable it first before you try again....

Go to Settings--> Accounts & Sync and tick the 'Background Data' option if its not already and try again

jay-kay ......yes phone can go on the internet fine have tried wifi and no joy still

I know that Logging in and out of talk and clearing the Data/Cache in Gmail/Market helps with stalling Downloads in Market, you could see if doing this Helps
