I've been using my S3 for the last 12 months; Android version 4.1.2.
Since last month or so, I am having strange problems with my data and wifi connections. It started with Mobile Data remaining ON continuously even if I was switching it OFF. Since two weeks, it switches OFF in 2 to 5 seconds. I normally use the notification panel to switch data/wifi ON and OFF. I've even tried switching it on in the "Data Usage" setting and under "Mobile networks" settings. Earlier, I had the "restrict background data" option checked, but not any more. Wifi was also behaving erratically, but last couple of weeks, it seems to be OK.
What could be the problem ? I do not want to do a factory reset because I've around 100+ apps and it would be a real pain to restore them. I am also not inclined to rooting the device. Any suggestions?
