My year old S2 seems to have a problem with playing music. Today, I plugged in my ear buds and started listening to music, but the bass sounds awful for some reason (a lot of vibration). First thought it was my ear buds, so I plugged them into my computer, and strangely, they sounded just fine.
So I tried plugging two other headsets into my S2 (another set of ear buds, and a set of brand new over ear head phones) and both of them experienced the same problem (treble seems OK but bass is just awful). Tried all three
head phones on my computer and they sound just fine.
As a test, I tried playing music on my S2 without headphones (using the speaker), and sure enough, the problem still shows up.
As a further test, I deleted all the songs off my phone and re-synched from my computer (in case it was some sort of strange file corruption problem). But the problem is still there.
Anybody have any idea what this might be? Definately seems to be something with the phone itself (sound chip?).
Thanks
