Help Problem with music playlist

All of my music files are on a microsd card. Whenever I make a playlist, and remove the card. When I put the card back in, the name of the playlist is still there, but the music files are gone, even though the card is back inside of the device. Is there anyway around this? I contacted samsung about this several times, but they never understand my question

I rarely ever take my card out, because I can copy files over wifi, but are you turning it off before you take the card out, then turning it back on after you put the card back in?

How about unmounting the card (in Settings) before you take it out?

I do unmount the card before I take it out. I've never taken it out with the device turned off. I don't have wifi, so I have to take the card out to put into a card reader to transfer files.

What about using the USB cable to transfer files?

Does it work correctly if you turn the device off before removing the card?

Edit: Judging from some of your other posts on this forum, it sounds as if you have a bad Tab, and likely need to return it.

I haven't tried transferring files with through the usb cord or turning it off before removing the card. As for my other post, those were made for a different device. This tablet I'm asking about now is new. I just got it a few weeks ago.
