Problem with my icons

I have a problem when my Nexus 5 has no more battery or when I switch it of, all the icons on my "second screen" are erased.. So I have to re-organize my screen .. I don't understand why it disappears.. And sometimes the icons of my apps come back as before. I would like to understand what is going on because I'm fed up to put all my icons in their place!

Are you using the stock launcher? Any 3rd party apps to customize the launcher?

That's weird, it shouldn't happen. I know it's a pain but you should try a factory reset. If the problem still persists, then I'd give Google a ring and try and sort out a replacement.

Have you tried going to Settings > Apps and clearing off the data for Google Now Launcher? That might help. Otherwise a factory reset will probably solve the problem.
