Help Problem with My Music app

When I had iPhones, I made ringtones with itunes. As in: set the song to begin and end at certain points to create an AAC version from a specific 30 second section of the song. If I forgot to uncheck the "begin at" and "end at" boxes, the song would be stuck in that 30 second clip in all players.

NOW. One song that I made a ringtone of is stuck in the 30 second clip on my Razr even though the boxes aren't checked and the file shows 18.5 MB 08:06 Length. The only success I've had was to rename it as Artist - F*&K Album - F*&K, 07 F*&K. Only then did it play from the beginning and through the end of the song. After that, I renamed it to it's correct name: Angra - Temple of Shadows - 07 The Shadow Hunter. It instantly reverted back to the 30 second clip. Unf@#kingbelievable.

I don't know what to do but I do know I did NOT have this problem on any other phone. It's one of my favorite songs and I'm seconds away from crushing this phone. Any ideas?

I just deleted the song and replaced it with a crappy techno song. I gave the techno song the same title, artist, and album as the song I'm trying to fix. The phone still played the same 30 second clip from the original song. That music doesn't exist on the phone anymore, not in any folder or as any file type. How is this even remotely possible? Does the My Music app create cached versions of songs? Does it create backup copies in system directories?
