Help Problem with Note 3 while using wifi

Hi All,

I am new to these forums and would like some help. I recently purchased a Samsung Note 3 (T-Mobile carrier) and it has been wonderful. However, there has been a problem that occurred while using wifi. While my wifi is active, when I receive a phone call, I could hear the other person just fine, but all they can hear is static when I speak. When I call back (with wifi on), both the other person and I can hear each other. When I turn the wifi off and receiving a call, the other person can then hear my voice with clarity. I did tests to see if the problem was consistent...when someone called me when I had my wifi on, they could not hear me. But when they called back when I had my wifi off, they can hear me. Anybody have any idea why this is happening? I tried the same on the galaxy s4 but it did not show the same results as it did on the Note 3.

Please help and thank you guys/gals in advance.

I just recently started experiencing call clarity issues myself when on Wi-fi. There's not much we can do about it. The other major US carriers resolved a similar issue by issuing an over the air (OTA) update but none have been sent out for T-Mobile devices so far.

Thank you for the warm welcome dontpanicbobby.

Do you think I should take it to the store and ask them about it or should I just wait for an update?

If your still within your return period it can't hurt. A replacement might work better. Heck even just making them aware of the problem could help. I plan on bringing it up at a t-mobile store this Saturday when I have some time off.
