Problem with Polaris and ezPDF Reader

Hi - new to this forum, but looks like this might be where the brains are to get my questions answered!

I have been using ezPDF Reader, which I generally think is great. One thing I have noticed is that some functions don't work on particular files (but will work on other files). For example, the 'text highlight' or 'text cross out' function won't work. I notice that this is often (if not always) the case when I have converted/saved word files to PDF using Polaris. I think it might be something to do with saving the word file with OCR/text recognition - but can't find this option anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Huh - in which case, then, this doesn't sound like you could ever convert a 'word' file to PDF on the device (mine is a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Note) and retain full functionality of the ezPDF Reader.

Does anyone know of a way to convert word files to a true PDF file to get around this (i guess outside of Polaris) - perhaps there is another app....?

Thanks
