Help problem with predictive text

I started having problems with the auto-correct after the update also. People at Sprint customer service told me I had to do a factory reset to fix the issue. I did the factory reset and it still won't work.

I don't want to have to get a new keyboard especially since it was working fine before.

Has anybody figured this problem out?

can auto correction be off but spell check on?

The keyboard in jellybean is supposedly much improved. And yes swiftkey now totally rocks.

before the last update, if I spelled a word wrong, it would automatically plug in the word that I type, but now I have to manually click the word out of the suggestion area. anyone know why this is happening or how I can revert it?
