Problem with sending texts over 160 characters

xxwhynotxx

I'm on Verizon as well as CM10.

Texts that are longer then 160 characters always used to send to other verizon members.

I realized that recently they haven't been sending. I really don't want to break them up as I never have. I will go back to stock if I have to, but I don't want to.

Ideas on why they won't send anymore?

I'm using GoSMS but I will try Handcent for testing sake.

It should send longer texts more then 160 characters, right?

Handcent has a setting to split messages for you, you could use that? If you click settings its under "send message settings" and it says "split 160". The default is don't split but you can have it split your message

See that's just it. I've never had to split them before. and while technically they have to split to send, they always appear as one which looks much better and is a lot less confusing.

My Lucid did this on GB, ICS, and now CM10. There is no issue. My moms Lucid running stock, unrooted ICS does it. Nothings wrong, enjoy CM10
