problem with sms notification

hi all. i have a problem with notification sound when i receive message.. sometimes is ok, sometimes is just a half of sound, and sometimes is no sound at all.. i tried different firmware versions, tried AdvancedStock Rom, but its the same.. does anybody experienced something similar or is this the problem with my phone only..

I think you mean the whistling sound? I always hear the full 'whistle'.

Its maybe stupid to ask this, but are you sure sound is always on? I sometimes accidentaly turn it on or off.

You can also check in settings --> sound and see if something is disabled.

Other than that I have no idea how to fix this.
