Problem with some sounds.

Lurker
Hi, so I'm a relatively new Android user and I've run into a couple problems.

I'm running android version 4.0.4 on an LG-MS770.

My issue is when I sleep, I like to play white noise generators from my phone. However, the problem is that often times the white noise will "skip" for a split second, instead of having a continuous loop of white noise, it'll stop for a microsecond before resuming. It's rather annoying and can happen as often as several times minute or not happen for half an hour.

Anyone know the cause or probable cause? Another app interfering? widgets? GPS updating? potentially anything...etc...etc.

I used both the sleep as android app and the Sleep & noise app and it happened to both so I'm pretty sure that it's not the app but my phone itself.

On a side note. another issue I have is sometime various bugs would appear on my phone (technical glitches, 4G not working) which have to be fixed by turning the phone off and on again. Is this normal? I turn my phone on and off maybe once every couple days.

Hello avian304. You might try placing your phone in airplane mode while listening to white noise and sleeping. This will disable all apps touching the internet if this is the cause of the skip you are hearing. I hope this helps. Welcome to Android Forums. I hope these forums prove worthy of your time. Enjoy...
