Help problem with stock brower

hi guys, i'm having problem accessing a website that requires login. everytime I fill in my credentials to log in, it says time out. I tried clearing cache, cookies, forms, history, password and exit the browser only to see the same error message.

I have no issues logging in via my PC

I've tried other browsers like Opera and Dolphin and it's the same issue

any ideas?

Try altering the stock browser settings to load desktop rather than mobile versions of the pages.

I've got no idea why that would or even should make a difference but if you're experiencing the same problem on 3 different mobile browsers there's nowt to lose by trying. I know it's meant to be just how the pages are rendered but any port in a storm eh?
