I have the red inspire updated to 2.3, a few days ago I get a text from my brother and I noticed that the notification was showing his number instead of his name, so I replyed to his text and looking at it, its showing +1###-###-#### (m ###-###-####) num sign for obvious reason. So I say easy fix I go into my contacts and add the +1 to his number, it did the same thing in Reverse so I remove the +1 and now it just says his number, I tryed deleting the contact and adding it back, I tryed unlinking all his other accounts thinking that it might be going off his Skype number or something but nothing is working and its pissing me off.
It will do it with some of my contact but if I edit there info and add the+1 to there number it'll work for those others but not my brothers number.
Also I never needed the +1 before, is that from the update or something else? Usually it just needed the area code and the number.
