Help Problem with touch screen.

CBernard

Lurker
I have a tiny little problem. There's a tiny area of my screen in which the touch screen is not responding. It's the exact area on the upper left corner where the green excalation mark appears whenever there's a new notification. If I tap it nothing happens. I have to turn the tablet right or left, or turn it over, and then I can tap it and make it go away, but if I'm using the tablet in it's normal position that area doesn't respond. Is not a BIG problem after all because it's just that part, the rest works perfectly, but I think it's kinda weird that such a small area is not responding, and it's exactly the size of that notification, so that makes's me think that maybe there's a solution thru software. I reseted to the factory settings and it didn't fix it. What I can say is that the said part of the screen wasn't very responsive at the begining, it would not work always, but now it just doesn't work. I hope someone can help me, because I don't think it's enough reason to send it to the official service just because one tiny part of the screen is not working.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Christian.

Sadly it doesn't work. I run the recalibration app and that tiny little spot is still not working. I think it has to do with the notifications in a certain way because when I rotate the tablet the spot where the exclamation mark appears sometimes doesn't respond and sometimes it does, it's only when I have the tablet in its normal position that the said spot never works.

Hi,
I also installed the touch screen app., it just seems like the 'sensitivity' has changed on my gTablet. I guess I'll do some additional research.
Thanks,
David
