Help problem with uc browser

Today at night after 12 am i used nearly 250 mb of data . As i started download in uc browser in night and slept . In morning, i checked uc . It had downloaded 9nly 10 mb of data . But screenshot showes 186 mb of data and also internet monitoring app shows 250 mb of data consumed. Both app shows equal data consumed . Why uc browser consumed so much data and downloaded only 10 mb of data . It bappens 3-4 days in a month. Perhaps uc is stealing my private data. Is it possible ? Where is 170 mb(90%) of data gone. None of many files downloaded each of nearly 20-25 mb. Screenshot is the evidence.

I don't know what it's doing, but there are a couple of options:

* delete it and install another browser
* install an app called Network Connections and start logging network activities, to see what it is connecting to

Looks like UC Browser has been having some problems lately. Check out their Android Forum. The developer seems responsive and concerned with such issues; even the queries in the Google Play Store are being addressed in a timely manner.
