Greetings,
I wonder if anyone else has had 'issues' with connecting their 'Wildfire s' to a wireless network through the Belkin F5D8231-4 ver.1000uk ???
Up until recently, I've had a D-Link wireless router in place here at home but it was only an 802.11g capable.
I bought the Belkin for the wireless n capability and was able to set it up OK using the original Homenetwork settings (Ip's and protection etc) and all of the original equipment which is here (laptops, PC's and other mobile devices) connect to the network without any problem. However, no matter how I try, I cannot get the Wildfire S to connect.
It simply reports that it is obtaining an IP address, and that's it !
It simply won't connect.
Belkin say that there isn't anything wrong with the setting's I'm using and HTC say that there are no reported 'issues' with compatibility between the two devices ... but I can't work it out !
Anyone got any ideas ??
Cheers
