Root Problem with WiFi in LG Optimus Vu 2

Shrivaas

Lurker
Hi,

After rooting my Vu 2 using the universal 4.1.2 method given in the XDA Developers Forum, I installed ROM Manager. However, by accident, I clicked "Boot into Recovery" without installing Clockworkmod, which made my phone get reset. Wi-Fi worked properly. I tried again and it reset itself. After that, Wi-Fi did not work properly. It kept on giving me a message "Unfortunately, CmWifiSvc has stopped." And when trying to connect to 2 APs, it asked me to check the encryption key. I reset it twice and it still didn't go.

Please help as I need WiFi ASAP.

UPDATE: I upgraded my software through the official LG tool and now I am just not able to connect as it asked me to "Check Encryption Key". I don't know why.....
