Problem

Problem: phone will not send or receive a call. If trying to make a call it will only dial and then time out. If someone calls it goes straight into voicemail. All other functions work,text ing, facebook, Google search,messaging, etc. Have been thru shutting down, restarts, removing battery, etc. Any thoughts.

has this just happened? what were you doing before this happened? was working before perfectly prior to?

the samsung core prime is pretty old from the research i did. i think it came out in 2014......that's crazy!!!!!! i never had a phone for more then 2yrs....lol

have you done a factory reset? or at least try to run it in safe mode?

Yes and a second. Even had my carrier try to ping in both dirrections. Charging a new phone at this moment. Got almost 5 yrs out of this one. Thanks

Sounds like something corrupted in your APN settings or sim card to me... which is easy enough to fix. Best of luck!
