Help Problema almacenamiento

Buenas!.. Me compre una réplica china del S6..en atutu..me dice que tiene 32gb.. Pero no me deja almacenar nada.. Por que me dice que no tengo espacio... En el pc...me dice que tengo 15gb.pero 500 mb libres
.....solución??,.gracias

I hope the mods don't mind me fielding this one in Spanish, but it seems the OP doesn't speak English. Just to fill you all in, he says he bought an S6 clone that supposedly came with 32gb of storage. The problem is that he can't install anything because it says he doesn't have enough space, sound familiar? Lol. When he hooks it up to the PC it says he has 15 gb but only 500 mb free and wants to know what he can do. I'll tell him if he writes in English, albeit bad, more of you can help him. I basically told him to try and delete what the phone will let him and asked if the phone can take a micro SD card so he can store stuff there.

If it's a knock-off S6, then it could very well only have 500MB usable storage, and he can't do anything. The 15GB or 32GB is just lies. Anything is possible these things.

Storage Truth would be useful here, tell you what you've really got.

Judging by all the Chinese Bazaars we have here in Spain now Mike I bet that book is a top seller over there, lol. I'll pass the App you suggested "Developed by AndroidForums.com's very own EarlyMon and scary alien" WoooooHooooo to the OP if he ever comes back and maybe we'll get to the bottom of this.

Mike que vive en China y conoce bastante los productos de alli, ha puesto el link de un app que te dice exactamente cuanto sitio de almacenamiento DE VERDAD tiene tu movil. Pruebalo a ver y nos cuenta para poder ayudarte mejor. Aqui to pongo el link otra vez.

Just recalled something I posted a few months ago in Random Thoughts........ How many "V"s are in "SAMSUNG GALAXY S5", I think it was. I did see a fake Note once, that only had 120MB usable internal storage, but the firmware had been fixed to state 16GB.

The Spanish-Chinese dictionary belongs to a friend, who went on a trade trip to Colombia a couple of years ago.

I'll just leave this here.... :thumbsupdroid:

This wasn't in a bazaar or night market, it was in a legit China Mobile store.

Talk about a "free for all" Mike, I figured that the legit stores over there would at least have to TRY and follow some professional norms. A family member of mine was working for Samsung in Korea and told me that there are a lot of non-exports Korean tablets and such that they won't sell out of Korea for fear of the Chinese reverse engineering them and mass producing rip offs!! Other than the obvious spelling mistakes, how do you know you aren't getting a knock off at the "official" phones places if things are so lax there???

To be honest, it was one of the smaller franchised China Mobile stores in a small city, Xilinhot, they don't really care. The large, flagship carrier owned stores, yeh, everything is on the level. And if you're buying a Samsung there, it really is a Samsung no problems. One quick way I've found of determining a real Samsung from a replica, is look at the kernel string in settings, if it states "CST" and not "KST" it's a knock-off. And I've told posters that on here as well, when they've posted about their Ebay S5s or whatever, when things are not as they should be for a Samsung. I was looking at a suspect iPhone 5 a couple of years ago in Shenzhen, at the Seg Electronics Mall. It was actually very convincing at looking like iOS, build quality seemed very nice, until went into settings, boom....."the process android process acore has stopped" or something like that....ooops!! LOL

You heard about our fake Apple Stores didn't you? One of them so good that the staff apparently didn't even realize it was a phoney. But then there's a lot of other knock-offs as well, especially clothing and watches.

Here's an interesting thread about a phoney Samsung S5 that came up fairly recently:

The OP was posting about the abysmal picture quality of his "recently acquired" S5.
