12 Nov 11 - Updated my SGS from Eclair to Gingerbread 2.3.3 yest via Kies. Update went thru ok. Got there eventually. Chkd it out. Loved some of the new features. Thing is when screen blanks out or I turn screen off, it doesnt come back on. I have to remove the battery to get it back on. Any possible fixes? Have others but this is my biggest prob right now.
13 Nov 11 - subsequent to above, discovered that touch screen is still active. So it looks like backlight doesnt come on again, once turned off. Instead of removing battery now, I take Phone to Power Off screen & Turn off (fumbling in the dark). Then turn on again. Annoying but a better workaround. Will keep u updated if dsicover more...
