Try this, boot into recovery and clear the cache and reboot. That may help.
(power off device fully. While holding the home button, press and hold the volume up button. While holding those 2 buttons, press and hold the power button. When the screen comes on, let go of the buttons. You should be in recovery. Navigate using the volume up/down buttons to wipe the cache partition. Navigate to clear the cache and use the power button to select)
