Help problems connecting samsung galaxy s to computer

so im trying to put files from my computer onto my phone and about 10 minutes ago the phone was connecting perfectly to the computer. now i try connecting and it wont show up on my computer. my phone says that it is connected and its in usb mode. i made sure to close all running applications on my phone to ensure it connects properly. so it says its connected, but when i go to the my computer section on my comp, nothing shows up. it was working 10 minutes ago and i dont know what happened! i tried changing usb ports but nothing is working. someone please help!

Try to restart the computer.
If that dont solve it then change your settings in the "settingsd" first to mass storage to see if that works.
If not turn also on USB debugging .
If all fails then you need to install new drivers.
