Problems in using Mupen64Plus?

Okay, I am going on a vacation, and its going to be a way long journey, and I wanna play some N64 games on my android.But I an't play, when ever I launch a Rom, the screen is black at start, and slowly sound comes, but at very low fps, and no video output, with a white screen.

What Android device are you running the N64 emulator on? - it might not be powerful enough to run the emulator correctly.
