There have been a few threads on this topic, but most are a couple years old and none of them have been able to solve my problem.
I have two users on my Android YouTube app: my regular one and an older one with a user name of xxxxx@youtube.com. I forgot about this user, and suddenly I started getting log-in errors for it on my phone. When I go to youtube.com on my browser and say I forgot this user's password, it says this user doesn't exist. It's getting annoying because I get the popup for the sign-in error several times a day, even if I'm logged in on the other account.
TLDR: How can I delete a user from the app?
When I go to settings, there is no option for "accounts and sync" or something similar. I've tried them methods on this thread: http://androidforums.com/droid-support-troubleshooting/16647-deleting-user-account-youtube-app.html but nothing works.
I'm not particularly tech savvy, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
