I want to get a new phone, to replace my older model
HTC Incredible. When I was told by Verizon that they could transfer all my data, except my calendar, they said that would be no problem. I just need to go to Google Calendar to transfer that data onto a new phone.
But I just realized that apparently, it hasn't been syncing on Google Calendar this whole time! (I never thought to check it on Googgle Calendar, because the appointments I add to my calendar are made when I'm away from my computer, when I'm out and about. In other words, I use my Calendar exclusively via my phone.)
When I entered a calendar entry on my computer yesterday as a test, then yes, it synced to my Droid, but it's still not syncing the other direction, aka from the phone to Google Calendar, even after following all the directions in the troubleshooting sections on that part of Google.
Another point: I had set up a Work Calendar on Google Calendar about a year ago with the hopes of keeping track of my store employees' work schedule. For several reasons, that didn't work out for everyone anyway. That data transferred to my Droid, but that's all. When I read online that Google Calendar only transfer the main calendar, I then deleted that calendar since it was unnecessary. I set up a new "regular" calendar iinto Google Calendar to see if my Droid info would transfer there, but still no luck.
Sorry if this is confusing!
Please help. I really don't want to have to manually enter all that information!
