Help Problems transferring photos and videos

Each time I connect my device to my computer I choose Media Device (MTP) which shows all my pictures and videos, but when I transfer them as you can see in the video I get an error.

When I put it in Camera (PTP) mode it transfers pictures just fine but it doesn't show my videos there just photos.

Which leads me to have to and I don't want to continue doing this. Take off my otterbox defender case, unmount my sd card plug in an accessory for my PC insert the card transfer my pictures and I'd be done.

If anyone has a solution that would be great, thanks for your time.

Also sorry for the crap video quality all I had to record the video was my Nintendo 2DS.

Why don't you just set your photos and videos to back up to google + or facebook? You can set it to only do when plugged in and on wifi.

Another driver problem . its the windows 8. Do you know cmd aka manually installing the drivers .

Kinda boxing yourself into a corner then, aren't you? Does the computer you're transferring to have bluetooth? Maybe you could transfer via that connector? I'm not sure.

I have Win7 and the USB connection works like clockwork.
Transfer to or from the S5

Looks like a possible driver issue, and it's crashing with Win 8. See if there's an update available from Samsung. If you have WiFi available give AirDroid a try, that's what I use. It's direct phone to PC via WiFi, and not going to any clouds.
