Help Problems turning on wifi (rooted phone)

My huawei ascend was recently rooted and about a week after I did that, I decided to take out some bloatware sucha s the metro pcs easy wifi app. And now every time I try to turn my wifi on, nothing happens. I tried turning it on through the settings and even through the power manager switch but only the easy wifi app seemed to turn it on.

I tried unrooting my phone but it didnt help. from what ive read, im guessing its a hardware problem but Im not sure.

Has anyone ever had this problem? Should I take it back and demand a new one?

have you tried getting an app from th market to turn it on?

Well I used to use Wifi Analyzer. As soon as I would start the app it would turn on the wifi automatically but now when I try using the app it wont turn on. Ive even tried hard resetting the phone but nothing seems to work.

Download Wifi Manager and activate it from that, This is what happened to me after i removed Easy Wifi

before i install custom roms on the phone back when it came out, i deleted metro wifi and boingo wifi and i didnt have a problem, but every ascend is different in their own way....
