I just got an HTC desire 816 VM lollipop. When I follow directions from htcdev on unlocking bootloader, I always get error message after entering the "get identifier token" command. I noticed that the command screen that comes up on my computer is different from the example on htcdev . Mine only says " user" &"desktop" while htcdev example reads "android". Am I opening the wrong command window? Or is my phone not being recognized? I have HTC sync mgr and drivers installed & sync mgr does recognize the phone. Any advice is appreciated.
