I suspect that you may have misread what it said. Anyway, I suggest that you register on the forums and post your question again in the forum for your phone where people may know how to retrieve it to a working state. It is likely to be a little complicated and will certainly need a 2 way conversation (which you cannot have in this questions forum).
When you repost it would help to know as much as possible:
Exact model of phone
Android version prior to failed update
Is it rooted (I assume not)
It does not boot up, but exactly what does it do when turned on?
Who is your carrier and where are you located
