problems wid galaxy ace

i recntly bout a galaxy ace...i lyk de styl n its intrface.....bt i xperincin a loot f problems....
1) de voice recogntion is nt workin......wen i clik on it...it shows conection error....
2) i put in my 8 gb sandisk sdhc card...n its nt being detected....stil shows nno sd card....
3) n i tink many r xperincin dis problm....de batry iss drainin lyk crazyy...
4)nt able 2 conct 2 wifi...it shows obtainin ip adress 4 sumtym...den gts deactiv8d otomaticlyy.....

n wads rooting..??? is it necsery 2 do it..??

it wud b f gr8 hlp if ny f u cud hlp me out wid atlest 1 f my probs......

You problems are all related. Voice recognition requires a data connection so it appears you don't have a reliable one. Dropping wifi is symptomatic of constantly searching for a 3G/4G signal, which would also explain your battery drain.

As for your sd card, i'd back up the contents on a pc and then reformat it in the phone.
