Hello I am helping a friend out who has created an app on the android market. It is an sms popup app called sms enhancer. I told him I could gather info for him to make his job easier. The issue on the table is this:
The idea was to make the popup talk to the stock messaging app instead of creating its own set of notifications. By doing this we would be allowed to have lockscreen popups and make the app do less work. The problem is getting them to talk. When you get the popup the phones defult notification system goes off. When you reply or close the popup, the notifications still go off. How can we get the app to:
1.) stop the led light
2.) clear the notification alert from the drop menu.
3.) clear the message count unread from the stock app.
if you need a video or picture of what I am trying to describe I can do that just request it.
There are a few other issues but this is the start any help is very much appreciated. Thank you!
