Has anyone encountered this problem? I have been using Google Photos (now Picassa) to upload photos/videos to share with the family. I also use it so I can view photos/videos on my android (now a Galaxy Nexus). Up until this past week I never had a problem.
Now all of a sudden, every single video gets an error in the Gallery saying it cannot be played back. The weird thing is if I upload a new video to Google Photos, it will be playable on my Galaxy Nexus for about an hour or so. Then all of a sudden it will not play back anymore. Is Google compressing or doing something now on the backend to videos that causes errors in playback now on android devices? It doesn't matter if I upload avi files or mpgs or h.264 files in low res all the way up to 1080p/60i. They all inevitably get processed and then all of a sudden stop working through the Gallery (they are still fully playable through a web browser on a computer). Thoughts?
I also note that it does play properly through Google+, but not through the Gallery. Google+ unfortunately is slower than the Gallery and does not take full advantage of ICS in hiding the menu buttons when playing video.
