Help Problems with brand new tablet

Klw7890

Opened up a brand new tablet today and let it charge up all day. Can't power it on or boot up. Shows no signs that it's even charging. My usual troubleshooting of cords and the transformer has been stumped because everything, including the cords and transformer, are completely brand new.

Hello and welcome to the forums. I see your android tablet causing you some problems . not being funny but do you have electric in the outlet . .but if I was you I would take the unit back since you say its NEW . sounds like it maybe either the battery or battery charger. But if your tablet has a reset button on the tablet try to do a reset .

Hi. Thanks for the response. Yes, there is electric in the outlet (other devices work) and I've tried charging on multiple outlets. There is no reset on the tablet that I know of, other than holding the power button down for 20 seconds, which I've tried. Taking it back is not an option as it was purchased from EBay new and sealed in box.

What wait you said eBay :what::mad: you have to send it back you been pushed a broken product . how long have you had this tablet

have you tried to charge it with a wall charger and/or from some usb port? If it is not charging at all, the device or the charger or the cord is faulty. Might be also that the battery is drained out totally and won't start to charge at all. I think the the battery might be the problem. There should be at least some power left, they are stored by partially charged.

I think you might have to hold down the power button for 1 minute (60 secs) in some cases. I heard this happen to one of my friends device. Also, I think if it was the battery, it would at least still turn on when plugged in. anyway ...Good luck

Needs to be trickle charged from a USB computer port. Let it stay on for several hours. The lower flow of electricity helps ease the battery into charging.

Try holding down the power button AND the "down volume" button at the same time. And give it a while when you do. This "woke" mine up when I first got it.
