Problems with frame rate and taps

Do you use Ice Cream or less?

I have an Ice Cream, and when I use some applications, when I touch the screen, the frame rate drops from 60 to 20 fps, when I touch it twice, it is reduced to even less than 7 fps!
On the same device, when Jelly Beans is installed, the same app never goes to 60, it is at 45 fps, but is is steady, no matter how many times I touch the screen - it keeps the same 45 fps.

I need to know if anyone else experience the same problem?

By "an Ice Cream" I assume you meant Ice Cream Sandwich, i.e. Android 4.0, sometimes referred to as ICS. :)

Don't think that's a general problem with ICS or less. However it could be the particular ROM build or kernel you're using for ICS that's doing it.

Right, it's Ice Cream Sandwich. I just tried to show off by using a hip jargon, I assumed that tough Android guys shorten it to "Ice Cream" :)

Thank you, but what kind of ROM build would do such thing and is there any way of getting rid of it without switching to another device?
